How to Use Plagron Lightmix
Plagron Lightmix is a substrate for direct use when planting or transplanting, giving you complete flexibility in your feeding strategy.
- Preparation: Fill your chosen pots with Lightmix. The medium is intentionally light; avoid pressing or compacting the soil.
- Planting: Plant your cuttings, seedlings, or flowering plants directly into the mix. A seedling of 1-2 weeks old is typically ready for Lightmix.
- Initial Watering: Water the medium thoroughly until you achieve a small amount of runoff.
- Feeding Schedule: The minimal pre-fertilisation lasts for approximately one week. You should start fertilising after the first week with your chosen liquid nutrient, such as Plagron Terra Grow for mineral grows or Plagron Alga Grow if switching to the organic line. Use Plagron additives like Green Sensation during the bloom phase for optimal results.
