How to Use Biobizz Bio-Down
Bio-Down is highly concentrated, so always adjust the pH gradually, measuring frequently to avoid over-adjustment. It can be used in every watering session.
Optimal pH Target Range: 6.2–6.5
Dosage Rate:
To decrease the pH of your nutrient mix by approximately 0.5 points, apply 0.1 ml of Bio-Down per litre of nutrient solution.
Instructions for Use:
- Prepare the Nutrient Solution: Mix all necessary Biobizz base nutrients Bio-Grow or Bio-Bloom and stimulants into your water reservoir or watering can.
- Measure Initial pH: Use a reliable pH meter or test kit to determine the acidity of the mixed solution.
- Apply Bio-Down: If the pH is too high, add Bio-Down according to the dosage rate above, or add in very small increments.
- Stir and Re-Measure: Stir the solution vigorously for approximately 10 seconds and then measure the pH level again.
- Repeat as Needed: Continue adding Bio-Down in small amounts, stirring and re-measuring, until the pH falls within the optimal 6.2–6.5 range. The mixture is then ready to feed to your plants.
