Frequently Asked Questions
Why does this nutrient come in two parts (A & B)?
The key reason is to prevent nutrient lockout. If certain minerals like calcium and phosphate were mixed in their concentrated form, they would react and become insoluble, making them unavailable to your plants. Keeping them separate ensures all nutrients remain usable. Can I use BAC Hydro Grow A & B with other growing media?
No, this product is specifically formulated for hydroponic substrates. For other mediums like soil or coco coir, you should use the appropriate BAC nutrients designed for those systems, such as BAC Coco Grow A & B.When should I switch from BAC Hydro Grow to BAC Hydro Bloom?
You should switch from the "Grow" formula to the "Bloom" formula as soon as you see the first signs of flower formation. This provides your plants with the correct nutrient ratio for the crucial blooming stage. How important is pH and EC when using this product?
Very important. In a hydroponic system, you are in complete control of your plants' diet. Monitoring the pH ensures the nutrients are in a form the plant can absorb, while the EC tells you the overall concentration of nutrients in your solution.SKU: 1691 Free delivery on orders over £60*
