  How To Use Ona Gel

  Simply open the lid of the ONA Gel to release the ONA particles into the air, effectively and permanently eliminating household odours. The outcome is a completely fresh-smelling environment that will persist as long as no new odour particles enter the space. We recommend shaking the jar occasionally to agitate the contents. To extend the lifespan of the gel crystals, pour a portion of the gel into an appropriate container. Once the ONA Gel has been used, refill with additional product as needed. This approach ensures that you’re not using more gel than necessary.

  For larger areas or more intense odours, consider using the ONA Breeze Fan (sold separately). Simply attach the ONA Breeze fan to the top of your 732g jar or 3.8kg pail. This will enhance the dispersal of ONA, although it should be noted that this will also increase the rate of consumption. In extremely large areas use the 20kg ONA Gel with the ONA Cyclone Fan (sold separately). This heavy duty fan has 5 speed settings to provide odour control for up to 5,000 square feet.

  Will ONA Gel effect my plants?

  Placing ONA Gel too close to plants can subtly affect their aroma by interfering with their natural terpenes (aromatic compounds), though it won’t harm the plants. To avoid this, keep ONA Gel at a distance or outside direct airflow in the grow room. For best results, place it outside the grow room or near ventilation systems to neutralise odours as they exit. This ensures effective odour control while preserving the plants’ natural scent. ONA Gel is non-toxic and safe, but careful placement will minimise any impact on aromatic plants like herbs.

  How long will a 732g jar of ONA Gel last?

  How long a 732g jar of ONA Gel lasts depends on factors like the environment's airflow, temperature, humidity, and the strength of the odours being neutralised. On average:

  • Under normal use (lid partially open): It can last 4–6 weeks.
  • For maximum odour control (lid fully open): It may last 2–4 weeks.
  • In a sealed container (for storage): It will retain its effectiveness for an extended period until opened.

  To extend its lifespan, use it sparingly or pair it with an ONA fan for controlled dispersion, targeting specific odour hotspots.
