Clonfix is a new organic rooting gel from Hesi which will give your cuttings a head start.
All parts of the plant have the necessary hormones (like auxin) and required to produce roots, but it takes time for them to get to the cut end.

Hesi Clonfix has a synthetic hormone (100% organic) which performs a similar role in encouraging the root cells to develop initially.

Before the roots can grow a callus* needs to form around the cut stem, cloning gels also help to seal the cut end and encourage the callus to form.

*Callus = plant tissue that forms at the site of a wound, giving rise to new parts of the plant.
